A charming century farmhouse, the Island Tree Farm Bed & Breakfast is nestled in the heart of Big Island, shaded by a 100-year-old chestnut tree. Situated on the Northumberland Shore region, Island Tree Farm surrounds you with miles of sandy beaches and scenic coastline. We have plenty of flowering gardens to admire, and a large deck to relax on. Enjoy swimming, walking, and bird watching around the island or admiring the magnificent sunsets before resting and relaxing in one of our cozy bedrooms.
Open all year round, we are centrally located for day trips, events and festivals along the Northumberland Shore. A short drive will take you to New Glasgow, Antigonish and Pictou, where you can enjoy live theatre and music, museums, shopping, local boat tours and fishing. A six-kilometer sandy beach is only one kilometer away.
Our accommodations include three rooms with double or queen-sized beds and a shared 3-piece bath with tub. A cot is available if required. A full breakfast is served between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. Those seeking entertainment can find it at the piano, or with the provided television and board games. Families are welcome. Our bed and breakfast is a non-smoking facility; smoking outdoors is allowed.
