Hubbards Cove Inn & Seaside Cottages

South Shore, Hubbards

Overview

Hubbards Cove Inn & Seaside Cottages is a perfect choice for travellers seeking a relaxing place by the sea in the South Shore region. Located just 30 minutes from metropolitan Halifax, you can enjoy the best of both worlds. Take in city attractions by day, and then unwind in one of our beautiful seaside cottages during the evening.

While staying with us, awaken your senses with an outdoor adventure. Kayak and bike rentals are both available in Hubbards, which has a beautifully sheltered cove to explore and a well-maintained wooded trail that extends for miles down the coastline. Deep-sea fishing and boating tours are also available. Our shores are a magnet for many scuba divers, from around the Maritimes and beyond. There are also many sand beaches for swimming, including Hubbards Beach and nearby Queensland Beach.

Popular attractions in Hubbards include the Farmer’s Market and the Shore Club. The Farmer’s Market is where you will find uniquely designed local crafts, an interesting variety of home-baked goods and much more. The Shore Club, known as Nova Scotia’s Last Great Dance Hall, features live entertainment and great Maritime lobster suppers. Inquire about the annual World Championship Tuna Flat Races, held every summer on the Hubbards Waterfront.

Our accommodations include two rooms with king beds, private 4-piece bath with Jacuzzi, and cable television. There are also six spacious deluxe two-story housekeeping chalets (queen or king beds), with 4-piece bath (double Jacuzzi), television, fireplace, screened sunroom, patio/deck and a barbecue. A continental breakfast is served from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m. Other guest amenities include a private dock and spectacular ocean views from all units.
