Overview
Situated in the beautiful fishing village of Victoria Beach in the Fundy Shore and Annapolis Valley region, Golden Anchor is a charming three-bedroom bed and breakfast offering spectacular views of the Bay of Fundy. Visitors are invited to relax on our decks and enjoy a picnic lunch, or join us for evening tea and our beautiful sunsets. While staying with us, take the scenic Victoria Beach drive west of the Annapolis Causeway where you can explore the many historic towns to along the way. Another point of interest on this drive is the Tidal Power Project building, one of three tidal plants in the world. We are also close to many area attractions including Port Royal Habitation (14 km / 8.7 mi); Fort Anne (27 km / 16.8 mi); and Upper Clements Park (31 km / 19 mi). We are also an hour away from the Digby/Saint John ferry.
Our accommodations include 3 rooms – 1 Double with a shared bath; 2 Twins with a private ½ bath; and our Family Room, 1 Double and 1 Single with a shared bath. (Note: 2 shared full bathrooms, one on the 1st floor and one on the 2nd floor.) All of our rooms are equipped with ceiling fans. Cots are available at an additional cost, although they only fit in the Family Room. Our comfortable lounge includes satellite television. A light breakfast is available between 8:00 am and 9:00 am. Children under 5 eat free. Pets are permitted by arrangement. We are a proud member of the Nova Scotia Bed & Breakfast Association and the Tourism Industry Association of Nova Scotia. Cash or travellers’ cheques are accepted.
