The Gathering House Bed & Breakfast is a charming Victorian home, circa 1800, located in Sydney, Cape Breton Island. Teigh Ceiligh (Gaelic for The Gathering House) is tastefully decorated and situated on a treed acreage lot. Relax on our veranda overlooking the ponds of Wentworth Park or take a stroll along Sydney’s beautiful boardwalk. We are centrally located to many restaurants and Centre 200.
While staying with us explore Cape Breton Island. The legendary Cabot Trail, one of the world’s most famous scenic drives, will take you from the charming village of Baddeck through Cape Breton’s highlands and glacier-carved valleys to the Acadian region of Chéticamp.
Our accommodations include three guest rooms (Queen-sized bed, Twin beds, Single bed), with one private and one shared 4-piece bath. Full breakfast is available from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. A television and video library can be enjoyed in our family room. Off-street parking is available. Pets are welcome; there are pets on the premises.
