Garden View Bed & Breakfast is a Victorian-style home, complete with antiques and original art we are proud to share with our guests. Located in a quiet, residential neighbourhood in the Halifax Metro region, our bed and breakfast offers three private guest rooms, a relaxing air-whirpool massage tub and home-cooked, hot breakfasts. Enjoy the historic city, boasting fine dining and shopping, art galleries and the Neptune Theatre.
The Halifax Harbour and the historic downtown waterfront, only a 15-minute walk away, is the pulse that beats the city, bringing tourists and seafarers by the thousands. To more fully understand the importance of the sea in Halifax’s history, visit the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. The museum includes two ships and houses a collection of nautical memorabilia, including a display of shipwrecks off of Nova Scotia, Queen Victoria’s barge, various small craft and a continuously running film by National Geographic about the RMS Titanic, which sunk off the coast of Nova Scotia in 1912.
Also of interest is the Spring Garden Road is a vibrant shopping district with many shops and restaurants. While there, take a moment to stroll through the historic and lush Public Gardens, a 16-acre oasis in the heart of downtown Halifax.
Our accommodations include three rooms with twin, double, or queen beds, one private 4-piece bath and one shared 4-piece bath with whirlpool. A full gourmet breakfast is available in-room. Guest amenities include guest den, living room with fireplace, piano, cable television, and telephone (free local calls).
