Mi’kmawey Debert Interpretive Trail
Open year-round
Built in the 1960s at the height of the Cold War, the 64,000-square-foot Debert Diefenbunker was meant to serve as regional military headquarters in the event of nuclear attack.
Decommissioned in 1996, the Debert bunker has been renovated and restored in parts to present an accurate picture of life behind the blast doors in the 1960s and 70s, alongside modern tech and entertainment offerings. Take a tour of this historic relic and learn more about Canada’s role in the Cold War.
Escape Room and Laser Tag also available onsite.
