Our lakeside Bed & Breakfast accommodation is a short drive from the Atlantic Ocean on Nova Scotia’s beautiful Eastern Shore. Located just 38 km from downtown Halifax, we are situated off the Marine Drive, Nova Scotia’s Seacoast Trail. At The Elephant’s Nest Bed & Breakfast you can experience the best of both worlds. Whether you prefer to just relax or be more active, the “Nest” is the place to be. Swim, kayak, or canoe the beautiful lake and let nature be your stage.
Watch the eagles, the osprey and the loons, or just laze on the dock in the screen room or on the sandy beach. Surf at the well known Lawrencetown Beach – one of the best surfing locations on the Atlantic Ocean. Within 20 minutes drive we have Martinique Beach, Nova Scotia’s longest sandy beach, and just over 30 minutes away is Clam Harbour Beach, home of the infamous annual Sand Castle and Sand Sculpture competition. There are also some great golf courses, fabulous walking trails, and wonderful photographic opportunities.
Our accommodations include 3 rooms (King, Queen, Twin; 1 with a fireplace and hydro tub), each with ensuite 4-piece bath, cable television, DVD player, VCR player, wireless Internet, telephone, fan, and robes. A full complimentary breakfast is served from 7:30am until 9:00am. Our lakefront property offers beach, watercraft, hot tub, and gardens.

Cancellation Policy: 48 hours notice of cancellation is required for 1-3 day bookings and 72 hours notice of cancellation for 4-6 days or more to avoid charges. Bookings of 1 week or more will require 7 days for cancellation.
