Changing Tides Bed & Breakfast is located in Grand Desert along the picturesque Marine Drive Tourist Route, famous for its beaches and steeped in Maritime history. Primarily an Acadian community that has lived off what the land and sea has provided for hundreds of years, we welcome others to enjoy with us the pleasures of being on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia. You are never far from a beach or other shoreline vista as you travel to the Acadia House Museum, Fisherman’s Preserve or other nearby attractions. Changing Tides has been designed with the traveller in mind. The main rooms in this home as well as guest rooms all have a full view of the Chezzetcook Inlet. At low tide you can view salt marshes, channels and clam flats. When the tide comes in, you can enjoy oceanfront views. You will awaken to the sound of songbirds and be entertained all day by the marine birds and wildlife.
Our accommodations include two spacious rooms (Queen-sized bed) with ensuite 4-piece bath, television, telephone, and wireless Internet. Full home-style breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. We are a beautifully crafted home overlooking the ocean. Enjoy the fireplace in the lounge, relax with a book in the sunroom, covered porch, or take in the breathtaking views of the sunrise over Chezzetcook Inlet.
It is 35 kilometres to Halifax, and 56 kilometres to the airport.
