Century House B&B, Pottery & Gallery
Overview
Situated on the scenic Lighthouse Route, Century House Bed & Breakfast, Pottery & Gallery is located in Blandford on the South Shore. This Lunenburg-style home (c 1868) is nestled among an extensive seaside garden and offers a spectacular oceanview from each guest room. Mieke has been a professional potter for many years and offers functional ware for the home and whimsical garden sculptures in her on-site Pottery and Gallery.
Our central location makes us the ideal home base for exploring the beautiful South Shore region – the “Bluenose Coast.” Experience life our way and take a leisurely drive along the Lighthouse Route, sail the bays, windsurf the ocean waves, kayak the hidden coves, snorkel a shoal or splash in the surf. Other nearby attractions include hiking trails, Bayswater Beach, Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic and the Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse.
Our accommodations include 3 oceanview rooms (2 queens and 1 double) with ensuite or private bathroom. A cooked breakfast is served and Internet access is available throughout the house. We provide hospitality and a personal touch.
We are pleased to be able to assist you in English, Dutch, and German. We are a proud member of Nova Scotia Bed and Breakfast Association and Tourism Industry Association of Nova Scotia.
