Cardinal House Bed & Breakfast

Situated on 75 acres of country farmland, Cardinal House Bed & Breakfast is a century home located in Port Hillford along the Eastern Shore. Cross the road to our private beach and relax on warm white sand.

A 20-kilometer drive will take you to Historic Sherbrooke Village Museum, a vibrant little village set back in the era between 1860 and World War II, when shipbuilding, lumbering, and gold mining dominated the local enconomy. Also nearby is the Port Bickerton Lighthouse Interpretive Centre, located in a lightkeeper’s home and explains the history of lighthouses in Nova Scotia. Outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty of hiking trails and bird watching opportunities, as well a plenty of winter sport options, such as cross country skiing.

Our accommodations include two rooms with twin or double beds and a shared 4-piece bath. Cots are available upon request. A cull complimentary breakfast is served from 7 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. Other guest amenities include a cable television in the lounge.
