Boot’s & Sassy’s Bed and Breakfast is located in the Cape Breton Island region of Nova Scotia. A peaceful, cozy, two-story home along the Fleur-de-lis Trail, it is a fully renovated home on a private, tree-lined lot.
While staying with us, travel back in time when you visit the historic Fortress of Louisbourg, where you can sample the culinary delights of a time gone by, including freshly-baked bread and vegetables fresh from the garden. This reproduction of an 18th-Century Nova Scotia town contains ruins of fortifications and buildings of the period, and gives you the opportunity to have a picnic next to one of the oldest lighthouses in Canada and a stroll or a swim at the nearby beach.
Travel further to the Cape Breton Miner’s Museum in Glace Bay and immerse yourself in the regions’s rich coal mining history. It is also the home of The Men of the Deeps, a choir of retired and working coal miners who perform at the theatre throughout the summer months.
Our accommodations include one room (Double bed) with private 3-piece bath (Shower). Relax in our sitting area and take advantage of our cable television, DVD player, VCR, and high-speed Internet access. Enjoy a full breakfast, served from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m . in our dining room or on the patio overlooking our outdoor pool. Guests are permitted to use the barbecue provided.
