Situated at the head of the Bay of Fundy on the border between New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, Fort Beauséjour – Fort Cumberland stands at a crossroads of natural and cultural history. Sweeping vistas of the surrounding marshlands can be seen from the site and the winds that sweep the landscape whisper echoes of the area’s colourful historic past. Discover Joggins Fossil Cliffs, comprising 14.7 kilometers of coastline along the tumultuous Bay of Fundy. The Springhill Miners’ Museum pays tribute to the region’s long and rich history of coal mining. Take a drive along the beautiful Sunrise Trail and visit Jost Vineyards to enjoy complimentary tastings and seasonal tours. In the winter months, visit Ski Wentworth, which served as host of the Alpine and Freestyle events of the 2011 Canada Winter Games.
Our accommodations include four rooms (single, twin, and queen-sized beds) with private 3-piece or 4-piece bath and cable television. Full breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. After a day of travelling and exploring, relax in the guest living room with its antique furnishings, river rock fireplace, cable television and library. We also offer wireless Internet. Check-in is at 4 p.m. We are a non-smoking accommodation. No pets, please. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Direct Debit are accepted.
