Overview
Becky’s Bed & Breakfast is located in Reserve Mines, Cape Breton Island – between Sydney and Glace Bay. We are 3 km / 1.8 mi from the Sydney Airport and offer our guests a complimentary pick-up service. Reserve Mines is known for coal mining from 1860 to mid-1950. We are just 10 km to the Miners Museum, which pays tribute to the region’s long and rich history of coal mining. Fortress Louisbourg and the Newfoundland Ferry is 60 km away. There is much to see and do on Cape Breton Island, and we are only about an hour away from many major attractions on the Island including whale watching, Bird Island tours, village of Baddeck and the legendary Cabot Trail. Winter area activities include skiing, ice fishing, hunting and great local entertainment.
Our accommodations include 2 units (Double, Twin); one with a double and twin beds, the other with two twin beds; both with a shared 4-piece bath. A complimentary full breakfast is served 7:30 am – 9:30 am. Kitchen facilities are available for extended stays. Guest features include satellite televisions and DVD players in our 2 living rooms; wireless Internet access and guest computer are also available. No smoking in the house.
