B. Morrison’s Guest House is located in the small village of Central Economy on the beautiful Bay of Fundy and Annapolis Valley region of Nova Scotia. The Bay of Fundy is known for the world’s highest tides and the place where you can walk on the bottom of the sea. We are just a short walk to the numerous beach locations. Enjoy the sounds of the waves, the call of the seagulls, feel the sand under your feet and the wind in your hair as you catch the scent of the salt air. When the tide goes out, you can experience the beach in a whole new way: miles and miles of mudflats that uncover twice in a 24-hour period. The experience is so unique, you have to see it to believe it.
Visit That Ductchman’s Farm, producers of fine farmstead cheeses in Upper Economy and pick up a wheel of their authentic Dutch Farmstead Gouda. The Masstown Market, a short drive away, has a wide selection of homebacked goods, preserves and crafts, as well as a restaurant. There is also an Economy Country Store just steps away from B. Morrison Guest House, for anything you may have forgotten to pick up. Have a meal at Granny’s Ice Cream Parlour or Mo’s Internet Café, featuring live entertainment. There is so much to see and do all along the coast that you just have to come and experience it all for yourself.
Our accommodations include one 2-bedroom housekeeping apartment with a 4-piece bath. A full breakfast is served between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. In the large kitchen, there is a gas range, a full-size fridge, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee-maker and a tea kettle, as well as a lovely pine kitchen table with seating for six. In the living room, relax in one of our couches, a love seat or a swivel rocking chair, while reading a book or watching a movie provided. You can also have access to a beautiful, spacious sunroom to enjoy your morning coffee and watch the yellow finches, sparrows, or occasional woodpecker in the maple tree, or enjoy a starlit night from the comfort of inside. We are a non-smoking accommodation.
