Lunenburg is a delightful fishing village, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and home of the famous racing yacht and fishing schooner Bluenose, the Bluenose II, and the Picton Castle. Tour the working waterfront and enjoy the remarkable architecture of the historic Old Town, then visit the fascinating Fisheries Museum with its aquarium, exhibits and interactive children’s activities. A drive along the scenic roads will take you to Blue Rocks and Stonehurst, the Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse, LaHave, Mahone Bay, the Ovens Natural Park, and many more beautiful places along the way.
Our accommodations include two spacious housekeeping flats (1- and 3-bedroom; each sleeps six) with double and queen-sized beds, 4-piece baths (air-jet tubs), cable television, DVD player, wireless Internet, microwave, telephone, washer, dryer, dishwasher, eat-in kitchen, and a large deck. Outdoor amenities include a yard, gas barbecue, and a picnic table. Admiralty House is the perfect location for an extended family gathering with lots to do for young and old. Rent both flats and make use of the (private) internal connecting door between the flats.
