St. Peter’s Marina
From May 20, 2025 to October 30, 2025
A Marina Cove B&B is nestled in the heart of St. Peter’s, only 250 metres away from the marina on the Bras d’Or Lakes, in the Cape Breton Island region of Nova Scotia. The town of St. Peter’s is the birthplace of world-famous marine photographer Wallace R. MacAskill (whose famous Bluenose photo is still produced on the Canadian dime), and is a must-see.
We are centrally located on Cape Breton Island and are within a few hours’ drive to many great attractions and exhibits. Follow the Fleur-de-lis trail to the town of Louisbourg and visit to the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic site, the largest reconstructed 18th-century French fortified town in North America. Continue along the Marconi Trail and visit the Marconi National Historic Site which honours Marconi’s role in the development of today’s network of global communications. You can also travel to the western side of the island and visit the Town of Baddeck, home of the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site and its unique exhibit of models, replicas, photo displays, artifacts, and films describe the fascinating life and work of Alexander Graham Bell. From there, you can continue to drive towards the headlands and cliffs of the Cape Breton Highlands National Park along the world-famous Cabot Trail.
