Overview

2nd Heaven Cottage is ideally located between Lunenburg and Mahone Bay on a panoramic point overlooking the beautiful ocean waters of Martin Cove. 

Sit back and watch the deer in the backyard or relax on the front porch to the tranquil sounds of the water lapping on the shore as the gulls, osprey and bald eagles circle overhead. An outdoor paradise is literally at your doorstep with two of South Shore’s most scenic towns just minutes away.

 

2nd Heaven Cottage is a 5 minute drive from Lunenburg and a 10 minute drive from Mahone Bay. Both towns have an abundance to offer with a great variety of quality restaurants & pubs plus museums, art galleries, shopping, parks, swimming pools, tennis courts, farmers’ markets, live entertainment, theatre, festivals, concerts, boat tours and tons more. 

Just outside of both towns, the beauty of Nova Scotia’s south shore awaits with stunning beaches, sea caves, walking trails, bike routes, fishing, boating and so much more. Wildlife watching is another popular past time with an abundance of osprey, bald eagles, herons, pheasant, sea otters, seals and white tailed deer sharing the beautiful surroundings of 2nd Heaven Cottage. 

The private cottage is a spacious house consisting of 1.9 acres of oceanview, mature fruit trees and woodland. This bright one level cottage has all the comforts of home including 2 bedrooms (Q, D), one 4-pc bathroom, cozy living room, bright dining room and fully equipped kitchen.  Linens are provided.  Smoking and pets are not permitted.  Cable television, DVD player, CD player, wireless internet and BBQ with lobster pot are just a few extra details that make 2nd Heaven Cottage your “home away from home”.
