By the flicker of candlelight, Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site will host a costume party for the history books!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Looking for a unique Halloween-inspired evening? Join us on Saturday, October 24, 2026 for the 6th annual Sinister Soir\u00e9e<\/strong> for an evening of of eerie entertainment, mystical encounters, and hauntingly good fun at the Fortress of Louisbourg.<\/p>\n

Dance the night away to live music and DJ sets, embark on a haunted walk through the reconstructed town where you’ll be entertained by buskers in the streets as you listen to creepy stories shared by firelight. Take a peek into your future with a tarot card reading, or get in touch with someone from your past with a medium. Do all this and more as you explore the historic streets within the walls of the fortress.<\/p>\n

Costumes are encouraged, and a variety of drinks and food items will be available for purchase throughout the site. This is a 19+ event – Government photo IDs will be required.<\/p>\n

Gates open at 5:00 pm with events and activities drawing to an end by 11:00 pm.<\/p>\n

Admission Details:\u00a0<\/strong>$60 per person<\/p>\n
