Eastern Front Theatre is bringing theatre back on the waterfront with their annual STAGES Theatre Festival, June 7th to 12th 2022 at Alderney Landing Theatre in Downtown Dartmouth. Now in its 29th year, STAGES is an opportunity to catch some of the most exciting and entertaining shows from the past year, from Atlantic Canada and beyond. 

This year’s festival will feature new work that pushes the boundaries of what theatre can be, including pieces that mix heavily with circus, drag, standup, music, installation art, and even mind-reading! For families and younger audiences, STAGES is offering an entire series of fun new pieces, including the long-awaited world premiere of the fast-paced digital thriller #IAmTheCheese from Dartmouth playwright Josh MacDonald, as well as a super soaker-filled outdoor retelling of Cyrano de Bergerac from Toronto’s Lakeside Players.
