Paint Pictou

Paint Pictou is a plein air event taking place on Saturday, August 23 from 9am to 4pm. Marking its 9th year in 2025, Paint Pictou will have participating artists situated throughout downtown Pictou and along the beautiful Pictou Waterfront as they create beautiful paintings outside in the beautiful Nova Scotian summer weather.

Artists’ paintings created during this plein air event will be available for sale. There will also be an artisan tent where you can browse art and crafts that are also available for sale. Don’t miss your chance to own an original work of art from a local Nova Scotian artist.

We welcome everyone to join us on Saturday, August 23 to watch the artists as they paint and to explore downtown Pictou!
