2023 Louisbourg Race Through Time – 8 Mile Race

An exhilarating 8-mile road race taking you from 18th century Fortress of Louisbourg that the French walked upon nearly 300 years ago to modern day and back again! This race will start at 6:00 pm at the Fortress in front of the Frederick Gate and will end back at the Fortress site.

• A Fish Chowder meal will be available as the runners finish the race (Vegetarian Soup meal option also available).
• The race course will close at 7:45 pm – must be finished race by this time! An award ceremony will begin at approx. 7:45 pm. Limited showers will be available. Parking available on site. No dogs allowed on site except Service Animals. 
• Kit Pick-up will take place on race day from 3:00-5:00 pm at the United Church Hall on Upper Warren Street in Louisbourg. Must be at the start line by 5:45 pm sharp – allow 15 minutes to travel from downtown Louisbourg to Fortress site.

Registration fee: $52/person (Run NS members will receive a $5 discount). Pre-registration deadline: Monday, August 7th at 11:59 pm – $10 late fee will apply after this date. All runners registered will receive a t-shirt and 1 meal is included in the registration fee.

• Online registration will be available until Friday, August 11th at 12:00 noon at www.webscorer.com. Please note: Registration will not be accepted after this time or on Race Day!
• $6.75 admittance fee will be charged by the Fortress for any guest accompanying the runners on site who are 18 years or older, payable when picking up race kits. Runner’s admittance fee is included in their registration.
• This will be a Chip Timed event with “902 Race Timing”!
• Tavern on site will be open following the event.
