They are currently working on a duo CD release, slated for release within the next year.Spring 2026 marks the release of Don\u2019s new all-vocal album,\u00a0Songs That Found Me, a mix of original songs and interpretations reflecting milestones in his life. His 19th solo album (his 27th including collaborations) showcases not only his rich voice but also his work as a multi-instrumentalist and recording engineer. Like his 2023 release\u00a0Water, it is being launched independently through crowdfunding, allowing collaborations (on\u00a0Water) with artists such as Bruce Cockburn and The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.Born in Montreal to a Mi\u2019kmaw Indigenous mother and Scottish father, Don earned a BFA in Music from York University and became a full-time musician in 1988, the year he first won the U.S. National Fingerpick Guitar Championship (he won again in 1996). A prolific recording artist and global touring musician, he now lives in Windsor, Nova Scotia, Canada.German guitarist, singer, and songwriter Julie Mal\u00eda\u2014also a lecturer at Dresden\u2019s Carl Maria von Weber Music University\u2014is a leading figure in Europe\u2019s acoustic scene. Known for her virtuosic guitar work, expressive voice, and engaging stage presence, she performs widely across Europe and North America. Her recent album\u00a0Seagull\u00a0was nominated for the German Record Critics\u2019 Prize in 2024.
