Along the awesome Fundy shoreline and over the fields of the Annapolis Valley, there lies a whole world of adventure incorporating everything from food and wine to living history to extreme backcountry camping. You’ll understand the lure as you tour charming Victorian towns, overflowing farm markets and incomparable scenery. The adventure starts when the
world’s highest tides come rocking and rolling up the Bay of Fundy. Raft the rollercoaster waves, walk the ocean floor looking for fossils or explore the legends of Nova Scotia’s First People, the Mi’kmaq. The Cabot Trail, one of the world’s most scenic drives, takes you from the charm of Baddeck through the Highlands to the Acadian village of Cheticamp. Eagles, whales, seals and moose keep you company along the way. History lives at the Fortress of Louisbourg and the Celtic heritage is in full swing all across the Island. Then there’s the music … many of the world’s finest Celtic musicians come here to play and party! So get your dancing shoes ready and join in!

Revel in the glories of the golden age of sail when Yarmouth was one of the most important ports in the world! Watch fishermen unload the catch of the day. Pass through ancient Acadian
villages where the tricolour flag of the Acadian nation greets you! The history of the area goes back 400 years and its culture is as colourful, proud and distinct today as it was back in the early 1600’s. Dine on Rappie Pie, dance to fiddles on fire or just sit quietly in one of
Acadia’s massive churches and before you know it, you’ll be talking with that distinct Acadian accent and calling everyone a cousin!
