Built in 1815 by Attorney General Richard John Uniacke, an Irishman who made his fortune here, the house is filled with original family furnishings, including Georgian furniture, portraits and ceramics. Partial wheelchair access. Several walking trails, featuring elements of the 18th-century English landscape tradition (the remains of a haha wall, a hothouse, plantings of non-native trees) and unspoiled Nova Scotia woodland.
